EXHIBITION: Moments That Made Us: 250th The Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum presents Moments That Made Us: 250th, on view May 1 through July 11. Developed through a multi‑state collaboration using materials from an exhibition created by History Colorado, the exhibit explores five themes drawn from the Declaration of Independence and the historical “moments” that shaped our understanding of these founding principles over time. Each moment highlights three historical perspectives, with locally curated moments to accompany the show.

DOG-O-RAMA is bringing the fun to Washington’s Evergreen Coast on September 18–20, 2026 (subject to change, rain or shine), and everyone’s invited. Whether you’re attending with your dog or simply love watching incredible pups in action, this three-day celebration is packed with energy, entertainment, and community. From competitive trials to playful activities and live music, DOG-O-RAMA is all about fun for the sake of having FUN. The weekend kicks off on Friday, September 18, with early event registration from 5:00–7:00 PM at Veterans Field Park, followed by a lively Pup Parade at 5:00 PM traveling from the Port of Ilwaco to Ilwaco Cider Company. The evening continues with live music at Ilwaco Cider Company, setting the tone for a high-spirited weekend ahead. On Saturday, September 19, events run from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, featuring a full day of action. AKC Performance and Obedience Trials take place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, alongside DiscDogathon events and Flyball demonstrations at Culbertson Park during the same time. From 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, attendees can enjoy Canine Fun and Games, followed by Costume and Tricks Contests from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. The afternoon wraps up with an Awards Ceremony at 4:00 PM, and the evening shifts into celebration mode with a Bridgetown Get Down concert and the Rotary Club Biergarten opening at 5:00 PM. The weekend concludes on Sunday, September 20, starting with the FIDO Fit Dog Walk at 9:30 AM along the New Boardwalk and Discovery Trail. The day also includes the Xtreme Distance Event at Bolstad Beach and continues with AKC Performance and Obedience Trials from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, giving attendees one last chance to cheer on some truly impressive dogs. From beach walks and athletic competitions to live music and community fun, DOG-O-RAMA is a can’t-miss event for dog lovers of all kinds on Washington’s Evergreen Coast.
